    Nice one. The paper was very solid, the findings globally applicable (if uncomfortable to acknowledge) and a bit of positive exposure never goes astray.

      Although like you I also suspect that the findings are more widely applicable, it’s difficult to empirically conclude.

      We have another paper soon to be published that analysed >1000 major/process accident reports for audit failures according to the investigators. These findings also substantiate many of the findings from this paper.

      So the findings seem to apply across the process, petrochemical, oil & gas, mining, and offshore gas sectors.
