Does your organisation use a Just Culture flowchart for deciding how to respond to cases of apparent non-compliances and culpability assessments?

On my Safe As YouTube channel, I recently covered a study discussing an overhauled JC framework, to help leaders better see latent conditions influencing behaviour, system factors, and align prospective accountabilities.
The framework was said to generate greater worker trust by emphasising that it wasn’t a disciplinary tool.
In Bitar et al.’s words, the revised JC framework helped “to help shift the mind-set in the organization and reinforce managers’ understanding that most non-conformant behaviours are influenced by system weaknesses”.
Check the video out and let me know what you think:
Note – I’ve hastily upscaled the framework with AI – don’t trust or rely on it and go to the source (you can find a high-res version in the IOGP ‘Learning From Normal Work’ document).
PS. I’m recording a follow-up Quickisode expanding on this tool with a JC questionnaire toolset for documenting the JC process (based on the IOGP doc). Also recording an ep based on Dekker’s Restorative JC checklist.
So….please subscribe and help share 🙏
